Six Olmsted Falls Middle School students were honored on May 3, at the Berea Elks Lodge for winning the local Americanism Essay Contest. In the fall, students were given the opportunity to submit an essay entitled, “What I can Do To Promote Americanism and Love of Country.” Over 400 essays were submitted to the Berea Elks from Olmsted Falls and Berea City Schools. Olmsted Falls is proud to announce that all six winners were from our very own middle school! The winners were: from left to right in the photograph – Adam Von Glahn (8th Grader), Alexis McNamara (6th Grader) , Zowie Hoover (6th Grader), Jacqueline Huston (6thGrader), Amber Blevins, (8th Grader), Emily Sumerauer (7th Grader).
